Who Qualifies for Energy Worker Benefits?
Many individuals who worked in the nuclear weapons industry, Department of Energy facilities, or related federal contractor sites may qualify for medical benefits through the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA) administered by the U.S. Department of Labor.
Eligible workers may receive coverage for medical services related to occupational illnesses, including therapy services through Comprehensive Therapy & Rehab.
Workers who may qualify include individuals who worked at:
- Department of Energy (DOE) facilities
- Nuclear weapons production sites
- Atomic weapons testing facilities
- Beryllium vendors
- Other approved federal contractor locations

Physical Therapy
Physical therapy is designed to help improve movement, restore strength, reduce pain, and support safer, more independent daily living.
Pulmonary Rehabilitation
Pulmonary rehabilitation provides one-on-one support with a Licensed Respiratory Therapist in a fully equipped rehabilitation facility.
Pulmonary Function Testing
Pulmonary testing helps evaluate respiratory health and is often required for Department of Labor recertification or impairment ratings.
Durable Medical Equipment Services
Comprehensive Therapy & Rehab helps coordinate durable medical equipment services through trusted partners, including Mountain Medical Supplies.
Recovery After Hospitalization or Illness
After illness or hospitalization, patients can quickly lose strength, endurance, and mobility.
